Information Services Division
The Information Services Division provides internal technical
support to all City Departments helping them efficiently and
economically serve their clients. It accomplishes this by maintaining
a stable and secure technology infrastructure. The infrastructure
encompasses workstation and network computers, database applications,
office product programs, and high-speed connectivity solutions.
The Information Services Division holds a crucial role in the
installation of the City's fiber optic cable communications
network, deployment of wireless networks, creation of an e-Government
presence, and the on-going assessment of emerging technologies
for their applicability to the provision of municipal services.
