Thomas Winery is California's oldest winery and was established in
1839. It is the second oldest winery in the United States. The adobe
brick winery can be seen in this postcard view from historic Route
66 (Foothill Boulevard) circa 1930. The building, which is
located at the corner of Foothill and Vineyard, has been preserved
through adaptive reuse, and is home to a restaurant, coffee
house, and a new, independent winery.
